I used to think there was a time in my life that could not be duplicated. It was so rich with experience, with people, with colors and music, I knew it was something special. I told people, “I am aware, in the moment, that this era is special. Like the 1950s in New York or the 1970s in San Francisco. We do not need to look back in history to recognize it; we can know it now.”
I broke the hold of that era in my life tonight. Strands connected us through time and pulled me back. It is still special to me, but I know the best is yet to come.
